Travelling the world has become less daunting with the advent of the Internet and smart phone, and Apps have made things even easier with Apps made for translating, booking flights and accommodation and even sharing your opinions and reviews.

We've picked a few Apps we think you should definitely download before you go travelling.

iTranslate Free Translator

1.pngiTranslate is an award winning translation tool, with state of the art technology that allows you to speak any language in a second. With features like 90+ languages to chose from you'll be covered for sure where ever you are visiting, it's also pretty simple to use all you have to do is speak into it and it'll translate for you.

To make it even more tailored you can chose dialects and decide whether you want a male or female voice now that's a win.

Most translator apps give you only 1 result per translation. However, if you are translating words and phrases there are often different meanings, depending on the context. iTranslate gives you dictionaries for many languages so you can find the exact solution to your problem.

A really great feature is Romanization which lets you turn "你好" into "Nǐ hǎo", transforming non-Latin languages into Latin characters. Available for many languages including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Greek, Hindi, Russian, and Thai.

This means you don't have to understand what signs or instructions are saying, because iTranslate will do it for you.

Happy travels!
