I love Christmas, I love Summer but I especially LOVE Vivid, the Festival of Lights, music and ideas is back again this year, bigger and brighter than ever. From May 25th to June 16th the city of Sydney comes alive with a divine line up of artists, experts and creatives and to celebrate its 10th year the festival promises to be our best yet!
As always, the Sydney Opera House will hold a plethora of events, from the lighting of the sails to underground acts in its halls, Taronga zoo is back with their ‘Lights for the wild’ instalment which will showcase new animal light sculptures which share an important message about conservation.
Darling Harbour combines lasers, water fountains and light projections to transport you to a world of underwater delights with shimmering coral and translucent jelly fish.
The Royal Botanic Gardens, as always will feature amazing light installations and taking a walk through these magical gardens is sure to be a memory you don’t forget.
Chatswood, Barrangaroo and the Rocks will also come alive with night markets, light instalments and pop ups that have to be seen to be believed.
