LEO (23 July - 22 August)

Some of the common Leo traits include being confident, generous, kind, comfortable being the centre of attention, drama-adoring, ambitious, loyal and fiercely protective of their nearest and dearest.

Leos are often referred to as natural and strong leaders. They can be valuable employees in any work environment thanks to their optimistic outlook, high energy levels, compassion and steadiness. However, being so self-confident and bold, their take-charge ways can sometimes manifest in a problematic way. They can become self-centred, vain, narcissistic, domineering, or greedy.

Read on to find out some career matches and options for a Leo.

1. Graphic designer

Anything to do with design will suit this artistically talented and expressive sign. Creative industries are a natural option for Leos. They easily assess what looks good and have a keen eye for aesthetic detail. They also excel in jobs that allow them to showcase their creativity with a high level of autonomy in their work. So in addition to graphic design, Leos can consider jewellery, fashion, landscape or interior design.

2. Actor

An obvious option for a sign who loves the spotlight and thrives on creativity and self-expression! This Fire sign will capture everyone's attention, entertain and engage with those around them. Leos have an innate ability to understand the human psyche and how to manipulate emotional responses, making them the perfect candidates for acting jobs. Other similar professions Leos would adore could be YouTuber, professional dancer or animator.

3. Landscaper

Landscaping can be appealing to Leos because they can use their creativity and show their appreciation and connection to the Earth. They can design properties to the point that their clients will be the centre of attention in the neighbourhood. Or, if they are hired to do commercial landscaping, then they can make the business property shine as well.

4. Spokesperson

Similar to acting, Leos love a role that puts them in the centre of attention. Two of the common character traits associated with a typical Leo are their natural gift for public speaking and their ability to inspire and sell. When you combine this with their love of the spotlight, speaking becomes an obvious addition to a Leo career horoscope.

This role will allow Leos to put their confidence and enthusiasm to good use. Similar options to consider would be branding consultancy, motivational speaking or coaching.

5. Hair stylist

When you think of a lion, bet ya think of their massive, fluffy and yellow mane! Weirdly, Leos adore and obsess over their hair. Lion hairdressers win a lot of hair competitions and do well in salons because they are good at keeping their clients entertained as well as beautifully coiffed. Other similar professions to consider are spa owner, beauty editor or stylist.
