Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Landscape Construction Apprentice to work with our busy Landscaping and Earth Moving Business. Unqualified Mature age candidates are also encouraged to apply.

With work based in the Northern and Western suburbs, we are looking for a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to continue their apprenticeship, gaining practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training and a nationally recognized qualification in Landscape Construction.

What will you be doing?

Residential and commercial landscaping and earthworks.

Turf laying, concrete and paving preparation

Mechanical excavation, trenching and post holes

Retaining walls

Planting & irrigation

Skid steer and excavator operation

Machinery maintenance and repairs

Tipper driving and dumping

What are we looking for?

Valid Manual driver's licence and own transport

MR truck licence is not essential but highly regarded

Certificate II in Building and Construction or Certificate II in Horticulture (highly regarded!)

An ability to undertake physical work

Eye for Detail

Desire to learn all things landscaping

Someone punctual and reliable - A good work ethic!

Someone enthusiastic and energetic

Excellent Customer Relations skills

A valid white card
