Required Skills

- Organisation, time management, autonomy and get up and go attitude are all fundamental skills we are looking for in a landscape apprentice 

- Hard working and prepared to work late if required to support the team in completing projects on time

- Strong interpersonal skills - You will be a communicator, responsible, displaying honesty and openess

- Own vehicle/ute is essential. Working as part of the team you will be required to pick up and drop off materials, tools and machinery to sites. This is integral in learning the transactional nature of our business  

- The successful candidate will possess basic written and mathematical skills 

- You will be well mannered and polite  



Preferred skills

- Consultative approach - Likes to ask questions and learn on the go interacting with staff 

- Trade skills are an advantage but not essential 

- Industry knowledge is an advantage but not essential 


Role Description

As an upcoming landscaper you will be required to learn all facets of landscape construction with an emphasis on levels, paving and timberwork. 

The successful candidate will be flexible with a requirement to travel throughout Sydney working on many exciting projects. You will report to the Managing Director for the initial onboarding process who will educate and train you on the processes involved in our installation projects.

The role will include, but not limited to, excavation, preparing a levelled base, constructing foundations, laying pavers and artificial grass. In addition there is a wide variety of soft and hard landscaping in this role.  With a key emphasis on laying beautiful artificial grass lawns this role includes learning timberwork, brick and block laying, paving, decking and planting gardens. 

You will be trained on correct landscaping practices and techniques. Attitude is everything to be successful in this role.
