About the role:
Brew University is an up-and-coming Perth brewing company that started in February of last year with a modern re-imagining of the Brew on Premises small-batch concept. With a full-scale brewhouse, 15 -tap beer bar, and commercial brand launch just around the corner, the Brew University team is looking to add new hospitality superstars to our small but passionate team.
Brew U: Brew University is the brainchild of 6 avid brewers from Roleystone, Western Australia, where we are taking the traditional “brew it yourself” business model and integrating it with a full force, flavour driven craft brewing approach.
Brewing beers, ciders, and ginger beers, we wanted everyone to have the opportunity to understand all stages of the brewing process, initially from the use of malt extract to future, all-grain systems. With this added knowledge of brewing behind you, we hope to expand people's understanding, appreciation, and exposure to beer choices, making the consumption of all beer types more enjoyable and of course, money-saving!
Responsibilities will include
- Assisting the brew team with production, cellaring, packaging, coordinating stock/orders/deliveries
- General maintenance and hygiene/cleaning
- Interacting with customers to provide beer/brewing information and demonstration of the brewing process
- Bar duties include responsible service of alcohol, cleaning, cash handling, dishes, planning and delivering events, maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons.
