About the role:

Located in Mandurah, Simplified Mechanical is a waste to energy recycling company. We specialise predominantly in the maintenance, repair and service of waste transfer equipment such as bailers, conveyors, optical sorters, hydraulics units and structural installations.

We are offering a unique opportunity for a dedicate Fixed Plant Fitter Apprentice to join our team.

About you:

• Demonstrate a genuine interest in the industry
• Eager to learn and able to take direction
• Completed Year 12 (preferred)
• Strong mathematics skills
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Punctual, reliable and hardworking
• Driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Forklift licence (highly regarded but not essential)
• Able to work effectively within a small team
• Safety Conscious  

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers licence and reliable vehicle 

Desirable:

• Medium or heavy rigid licence
• Forklift licence 
• Working with Heights

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Servicing multiple types of equipment
• Travelling to sites
• General maintenance
• Fabrication duties
• Performance condition monitoring checks
• Conducting routine maintenance required sites
• Complying with OHS policies and procedures 
• Assisting tradesmen as required
• Able to work away from home as you may be required to travel interstate and internationally
• After hours, weekend and public holiday availability
