  • Motivated with a genuine interest in the fabrication industry
  • Be trustworthy and reliable
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing fabrication as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.
  • Up To Date with TAFE Modules (for recommeencing apprentices).

The successful candiate will udergo TAFE Certicicate III in Engineering.

Preferred skills

Applicants require their Driver Licence, own car and White Card. (Candidates that dont have drivers licence will still be considered).

Role Description

MJC Enterprises are currently looking for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year metal fabrication (fitter machinist) apprentice to join the team.

Working with qualified and skilled engineers you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support. 

The workshop is located in North Richmond, however work can vary from Blacktown to Parramatta, so a vehicle and drivers licence is essential to get yourself from worksites.

Duties will involve: 

  • Performing engineering measurements
  • Apply welding principles
  • Use workshop machines for basic operations
  • Carry out mechanical cutting
  • Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment
