Preferred skills

  • Experience with hand tools & power tools
  • Forklift license
  • Keen interest in robotic fabrication
  • Experience in the processing of Aluminium extrusions
  • Physically fit and adequate swimming ability for site works
  • Interest in a long-term position within the business


Role Description

This role entails working within a team to fabricate and assemble pontoons from aluminium material preparation through to assembling the fabricated components.

Job tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing materials (cutting, drilling, linishing) for fabricators
  • Utilising workshop equipment (Bandsaw, drill press, linisher) and power/hand tools (grinders, circular saws, drills) for the fabrication of pontoon components.
  • Welding of aluminium components under supervision
  • Operating a Fanuc Robot welding machine
  • Keeping the workshop and work areas clean & tidy
  • Assembling pontoons and occasional site work when required
