I am already in paid employment?

If you are already employed, you can still do an apprenticeship or traineeship, you just need to talk with your employer about the options and what you want to achieve in your career. Use this as an opportunity to formally recognise your skills and experience to make yourself more employable in the future.

Ask your training provider if you can complete your apprenticeship or traineeship in a shorter timeframe by getting recognition for existing skills or knowledge.

Some traineeships are available to do if you are working part-time. Contact ABL Apprenticeships Centre (ABLAC) on 1300 652 236 and find out which ones they are.
