1. Personal details
We store the personal details you enter in order to register on the site, participate in a survey, or use our jobs board, career matching service, resume builder and other services.
These details will only be forwarded to third parties with your express permission. Such third parties include but are not limited to potential employers and NGA.net (providers of our e-recruitment software).
2. Patterns of use on this site
We record information on our site visitors collectively including which sections of the site are most frequently visited, how often and for how long. This data is always used as aggregated, non-personal information.
3. Basic information about your computer and network
We keep some basic information about your computer and Internet connections using 'cookies'. Skillsroad uses cookies to identify your computer when you come back to this site. These cookies are placed in your browser file on your hard drive. These help us collect general information about visitor behaviour on this site, track password functions and to help us develop better functionality within this site. If your browser has been set up not to accept cookies then you will not be able to access this site.
When will my personal information be used and disclosed?
ABLAC is part of the NSWBC Group. Information collected on this site will be shared with ABLAC's associated entities for the purpose of providing our services.
ABLAC works closely with Australian Business Talent (AB Talent), also part of the NSWBC group. Personal information collected on this site will be used by AB Talent for recruitment purposes.
ABLAC and associated entities will not sell or disclose information which identifies you to any third party without your consent, except where it is required by law, such as for law enforcement purposes or where there is a threat to a person's safety.
From time to time, we may provide some statistical information relating to the use of our services to third parties but this will not include any information identifying you personally.
How will my personal information be kept safe? We require all users to keep their ID and password secret. Never give your log in ID or password to anyone.
Our e-recruitment software, NGA.net, stores user details in a unique database at a secure third party data centre to ensure there is no possibility of cross contamination due to an external event.
Application password controls include password expiry, invalid attempt lockout and password construction requirements.
Production systems are hosted in locked equipment racks at a secure third party data centre, manned 24/7 with surveillance cameras and strict verification policies.
