Training arrangements

You will enrol at a TAFE college or another Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for the training component.

Your registered training organisation will develop a training plan with you and your employer.

Your training plan shows:

• what you will be trained in
• who will be training you
• how the training will be done
• where the training will take place
• arrangements for you to attend the training off-the-job
• who will do you assessment
• how and where you will be assessed

Your RTO will provide you with a training record book which records your progress and achievements according to your training plan. It helps you, your employer and registered training organisation discuss your progress on-the-job. You should be provided with this book within four weeks of signing your training contract.  This only applies to Trainee Apprentices.

It is your responsibility to keep this book up-to-date.
